1. About this notice

House of Svara Pte. Ltd. (“House of Svara”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with applicable Singapore data protection requirements, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

This notice explains the personal data we may collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and how you may contact us about your personal data.

2. Personal data we may collect

Depending on how you interact with House of Svara, we may collect information such as:

• your full name;
• mobile number and email address;
• Singapore postal code and delivery address;
• optional address line 2 and delivery or unit/apartment details;
• information you choose to include in an order note or enquiry;
• products ordered, quantities, order amounts and order status;
• coupon codes applied, coupon redemption status and pseudonymised identifiers used to enforce promotion rules such as one-use-per-customer limits;
• payment-related transaction references and status information;
• technical and security information that may be processed when you use our website, such as information required for fraud, abuse or bot-protection measures.

House of Svara does not store your payment-card details as part of our order database. Payments are processed through our payment service provider.

Where a promotion is limited to one use per customer, we may derive non-readable, pseudonymised identifiers from normalised contact details to check prior coupon use. These identifiers are used for promotion eligibility and are not displayed to customers.

3. Why we use personal data

We may use personal data where reasonably necessary to:

• process, confirm and fulfil your order;
• verify delivery information and arrange delivery;
• communicate with you about your order;
• process payments, refunds, returns and related requests;
• validate coupons and promotions, enforce eligibility or usage limits, and prevent promotion misuse;
• respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
• prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents;
• maintain records required for legitimate business, accounting, dispute-resolution or legal purposes;
• respond to requests concerning access to or correction of personal data; and
• meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use checkout information for marketing merely because you have placed an order. Any future marketing consent, where applicable, will be handled separately.

4. Services that help us operate

We use service providers and infrastructure partners where necessary to operate our website and fulfil orders. These may include:

• Lovable / Cloudflare for website, application and edge infrastructure;
• Lovable Cloud / Supabase / AWS for managed database and application infrastructure;
• HitPay for payment processing;
• SLA OneMap for Singapore postal-code and address verification; and
• Cloudflare Turnstile for website security and bot protection where enabled.

We seek to provide service providers only with information reasonably required for the relevant service. For example, postal-code verification does not require us to send your name or unit number to OneMap.

5. Overseas processing and storage

Some of our service providers or technology infrastructure may process or store information outside Singapore. Our current managed database infrastructure is hosted in the AWS Asia Pacific (Tokyo) region.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, House of Svara takes appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer is handled in accordance with applicable Singapore data protection requirements and that an appropriate standard of protection applies.

6. How long we retain personal data

We do not intend to keep personal data indefinitely. Retention periods depend on the purpose for which the information is held.

Contact and delivery information associated with an unpaid or abandoned order is generally anonymised after 90 days, unless there is a legitimate reason for us to retain it longer.

Contact and delivery information associated with paid or completed orders may generally be retained for up to seven years where reasonably required for accounting, legal, dispute-resolution and business-record purposes.

After the applicable retention period, personal contact and delivery information is anonymised or otherwise disposed of when it is no longer required. Underlying order, financial or promotion-redemption records may continue to be retained where legitimately required without retaining unnecessary customer-identifying information.

7. Protecting personal data

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or similar risks.

Access to customer contact and delivery information is restricted to authorised persons who require that information for legitimate House of Svara operations.

8. Access and correction

You may contact us to request access to personal data we hold about you or to request correction of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions under Singapore law.

To help us protect your information, we may need to verify your identity and the relevant order before acting on a request.

9. Order notes and information you provide

Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive or personal information in free-text order notes or enquiry fields. Only provide information that is reasonably necessary for us to fulfil your order or respond to your request.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy & Data Protection Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our services, systems, legal requirements or data-protection practices. The effective date shown at the top of this page indicates when this version took effect.
